Aptera is desperate to raise capital. 10 miles per KWh sounds awesome and is necessary to get up to 40 miles from the Sun. If they could get those numbers now, it would be to their benefit to say so. If they can’t, it would be better to deceive the crowds until after the road show, which is what they have decided to do.
